The Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society will co-sponsor their Annual Muster/Open House on Sunday, Oct. 4. at the Schuylkill Fire Training Grounds in Frackville.

Events commence at 10:30 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m.A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Fallen Firefighters Monument at 2 p.m. to commemorate Schuylkill County's 35 firefighters who died in the line of duty.The Muster/Open House will also feature a parade of antique fire apparatus, pumping demonstrations, live rescue demonstrations, antique and modern fire apparatus display, and a fire memorabilia vendor market.Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event, and the public is invited to attend.
