A Tamaqua driver was cited following a two vehicle crash that occurred about 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, along SR54, in Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Andrea M. Startzel, 38, of Tamaqua, was driving a 1994 Buick Century easbound while Nicholas E. Troutman, 29, of Gordon, was operating a 1997 BMW westbound. Troopers said Startzel crossed the center line and sideswiped Troutman's car. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene. No one was injured.Troopers cited Startzel for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
