Felicia-Sue Anthony, 19, of Lehighton was recently named Lions District 140 Leo of the Year by Lions District 140 District Governor Charlie Zimmerman at the District’s convention held at the Chateau Resort and Conference Center in Tannersville.

Felicia-Sue is past president of the Lehighton Area Leo Club.

She was also inducted into the Lehighton Area Lioness Club by Lions International Director Alan Lundgren of Arizona.

Anthony is the daughter of Richard and Sue Anthony of Lehighton and is a senior at the Lehighton Area High School.

The Lehighton Area Leo Club, which celebrated its first year of being chartered by Lions International on May 5, is open to all youth ages 12-18 years.

The club meets every third Tuesday of every month at the lehighton Area Memorial Library at 6 p.m.
