Carbon Lodge No. 242, Free and Accepted Masons, Jim Thorpe, held its 120th anniversary banquet in St. John’s Lutheran Church in the Heights, Jim Thorpe.

Holding elective offices of the lodge are Freeman A. Getz, worshipful master; Harry E. Heydt, senior warden; Samuel J. Donald, junior warden; William E. Ackerman, treasurer; Roy F. Gover, secretary; and Wilson D. Putt, Robert R. App and Claude W. Snyder, trustees. The latter is also the local lodge’s representative to the Grand Lodge.

Paul F. Kunkle gave the main address at the banquet while Getz offered welcoming remarks and Ackerman was the toastmaster.
