A traffic investigation in Mahoning Township last year has led to the arrest of a pair of Carbon County residents.
Township police said that at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 23, police seized four syringes, empty wax packets and wax packets containing heroin during a traffic investigation in Jamestown.As a result of the investigation, Jocelyn Cain, 20, of Lehighton, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; while Chad Hartsell, 33, of Lehighton, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled for March 16.
