Corbett makes campaign stop in Lehighton Saturday

Gov. Tom Corbett and his wife, Susan, made a campaign stop at the Lehighton American Legion Post on Saturday.

About 100 supporters greeted them, including state Reps. Doyle Heffley and Jerry Knowles and Carbon County Commissioner Thomas Gerhard.Representatives of the Carbon County Republican Party including GOP Chairman Jeremy Glaush also were present.Corbett stood in the Legion parking lot and addressed the gathering, thanking them for their support and reviewing a list of his accomplishments.He then went inside the Legion and chatted with patrons.He spent about 45 minutes in Lehighton talking with supporters.He is seeking re-election in Tuesday's election.
