October 9, 1982 — A big game from Mike Terry helps Panther Valley pull out a 20-12 victory over Shenandoah Valley. Terry carries 25 times for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He opens the scoring in the first quarter, bulling his way over the goal line from one yard out, and adds a 4-yard tally in the second frame. Mike DeMatto also reaches the end zone on a 2-yard run for PV, coached by Gary Williams. The Panthers defense, which allows just six rushing yards in the contest, also forces six turnovers.
