The Tamaqua girls won their seventh straight game by defeating Pottsville on Monday.

A 20-point third quarter sparked Tamaqua to a 45-31 Schuylkill League victory over Pottsville.

The Blue Raiders’ Emma Kuczynski posted a double-double with a game-high 29 points and 14 rebounds. She also added seven steals. Jen Frederickson also chipped in with nine points.

The Blue Raiders improved to 14-2 overall and 8-1 in the league.

The Indians’ Emily Miller netted a game-high 19 points, 10 of them coming in the first quarter.

The Indians slipped to 8-9 overall and 2-7 in the league.
