The parents of Amber Marie Smith and Daryl Robert Kuehner have announced the couple's engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tracey and Tracy Smith, Kunkletown. She is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and is employed as a hairstylist at Unique Curl Design in Brodheadsville.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Robert and Lenna Kuehner, also of Kunkletown. He is also a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and is employed as a machinist for BWC Technologies, Inc. in Saylorsburg.They will be wed May 7, 2011.
