Preliminaries for the Jim Thorpe Idol 6 competiton will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, in Jim Thorpe High School.

Jim Thorpe residents can particate and there are no are requirements.The competition starts on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at the high school. An admission fee is charged.
