FALLS TOWNSHIP (AP) — Police in Pennsylvania have encountered a slithery situation.
WPVI-TV reports officers and an animal expert removed 25 snakes from a Falls Township apartment Wednesday, including 23 that are venomous.
Not all of the snake species were disclosed, but authorities say some were cobras and rattlesnakes.
Police say they got a tip about the snakes from another agency.
No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.
Police say charges are pending.
Falls Township is a suburb of Philadelphia.
