A 30-year-old man who police said was reported to be unconscious in his vehicle was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, according to state police at Lehighton.

They were called to the incident at 1:58 a.m. Aug. 4in the 100 block of Winding Way, Chestnuthill Township. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for further processing.Police said the case remains open pending the results of the man's blood-alcohol results and court disposition.
