A Summit Hill man's vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run incident at 11 p.m. Sept. 2 on Route 54 in Ryan Township.

State police at Frackville said Larry L. Eidem, 46, of Summit Hill, was driving on the highway and applied his brakes. A Jeep that was behind his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado struck it in the rear. Police said the Jeep backed into the Barnesville Post Office parking lot and fled towards Grier City without the driver providing his information to Eidem.Eidem was not injured.
