Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating a fight with a handgun.

The incident occurred at 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 29. Police responded to the 6000 block of Marvin Gardens in Tobyhanna and made contact with a male, Demetrius Velazquez, who said he lived at that address and was “jumped” by an unknown man, possibly named “Danny.”

During the altercation the assailant pulled out a handgun and fired it at the ground, Velazquez told officers. The man then fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Honda Civic.
