Two Schuylkill County residents have been charged in connection with burglary and related counts stemming from an entry to a county residence.
State police at Frackville identified the two suspects as James Steward-Moyer, 35, and Michael Pupko, 28, both of Delano.
According to troopers, entry was made to a home along Walnut Street in Delano, on Sept. 19 between midnight and 7 a.m., while the homeowner was in a nursing home. Taken was an Invicta watch collection and collectible knives and cash.
An investigation revealed that Steward entered the home via a door Pupko had left unlocked. Steward removed the items then Pupko drove Steward to Hazleton where Pupko pawned several watches and knives.
Steward has been charged with burglary, theft, criminal conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property. Pupko has been charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft. The two were arraigned before a district judge and released on bail.
