A Monroe County woman pointed a handgun at family members after a dispute Saturday night, according to police.
Coralia Vargas, 19, of HIllcrest Drive in Tobyhanna, was arrested without incident, according to Pocono Mountain Regional Police.
Officers were called to a home around 8:30 p.m. for a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. After arresting Vargas, they found a Smith and Wesson handgun outside the home.
They also reportedly recovered a large amount of marijuana, a scale, and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they plan to charge Vargas with aggravated assault, possession with intent to distribute, and related charges.
