A 2006 Mercury Mariner operated by Louie F. Rivera, 27, of Minersville, struck a large rock in the road at 2:38 p.m. Friday and ended up flipping over.
State police at the Frackville barracks said he was northbound on snow-covered Route 61 in Blythe Township when the vehicle traveled onto the east shoulder, went out of control, crossed both lanes of Route 61, traveled onto a rock/dirt embankment and struck the rock before flipping over.
Police said Rivera and two passengers, Jennifer E. Skinner, 19, of Girardville, and Daniel Lopez, 27, of Reading, were all uninjured.
