State police in Schuylkill County reported on the following investigations.

• State police at Schuylkill Haven said Russell Brown, 51, of Schuylkill Haven, showed up at the home of a 42-year-old woman along Kate Avenue in North Manheim Township at 6:50 p.m. Friday. Brown is prohibited from being at the residence according to a protection from abuse order. He was video-arraigned by on-call District Judge Christine Hale, of Frackville, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $15,000 straight cash bail.

• State police at Schuylkill Haven investigated a rear-end crash at 8:05 p.m. on Thursday in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Kathleen M. Wingle, 72, of Schuylkill Haven, was northbound on Route 61 in the passing lane and approaching the intersection with Manheim Road when she failed to stop for traffic ahead of her, which was stopped for a red traffic light. The front of her 2003 Toyota Highlander hit the rear of a 2005 Peterbilt truck-tractor operated by Kevin R. Martin, 63, of Reading. No one was injured.

• State police at Frackville said troopers responded to the 100 block of Ohio Avenue in West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, around 7 a.m. Sunday for a reported altercation. On scene troopers learned that Valerie Shoup, 23, and Tasheena Ortiz, 24, both of Shenandoah, engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical leading to both individuals swinging at each other and pulling each others hair. Both were cited for harassment.

• State police at Frackville investigated a one-vehicle crash at 6:53 a.m. Thursday along Interstate 81 in Delano Township, Schuylkill County. Troopers said Brian Corcoran, 24, of Duryea, Luzerne County, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup southbound and attempted to slow down due to a snow squall. He lost control of the truck, which went off the west side of the road and struck an embankment and several small trees. After impact, the truck rolled over several times before coming to rest down the embankment. Corcoran sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Miners Campus, Coaldale. • An arrest warrant has been issued for Mark Schlauch, 28, on burglary and related charges at a Faux Hill Road location. His last known address was another Faux Hill Road residence, in the village of Zion Grove, North Union Township. Troopers from the Frackville barracks allege that Schlauch entered a barn and removed a wheel barrow and an ARC welder. The victim is a 69-year-old Zion Grove woman. The entry occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. on March 9 and 7:45 a.m. on March 10. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Schlauch is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
