Three people, including two juveniles, have been charged following incidents at a Schuylkill County residence.
State police at Frackville said on Sunday they were dispatched to a home along Chestnut Street in Shenandoah. According to the property owner Damin Metcalf, 19, of Shenandoah, and two male juveniles, both 17, were invited guests at the residence until they began to smoke marijuana. They were then told to leave by the owner, but refused. The owner then called state police.
Before the arrival of troopers, Metcalf and one of the juveniles ran off. The other juvenile remained. He was later turned over to a parent. Both juveniles will face charges of defiant trespass in the county juvenile court.
Metcalf later returned to the home after troopers left and threatened the homeowner with bodily harm for having called police. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Wednesday, he turned himself in at the office of District Judge Anthony Kilker of Shenandoah. He was arraigned on charges of burglary, retaliation against a victim, witness or party and related offenses.
He was committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
