State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a case of a lost or missing gun.

The victim, who resides along Paw Paw Drive in Polk Township, reported the gun missing at 9 a.m. Aug. 10.

The gun is a gray Smith and Wesson .38-caliber snub nose revolver.
