State police at Lehighton are investigating two incidents of identity theft.
A 46-year-old Saylorsburg, Ross Township man reported on July 18 that money was taken from his credit card account and used at a grocery store in Erie. The total loss was $391.96.
A 39-year-old man from Towamensing Township, reported on Aug. 16 that an unknown person in Michigan attempted to use multiple credit cards and made a Best Buy account in his name.
