Lehighton state police

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests and current investigations by troopers:

• Randy Gombert, 44, of Palmerton, has been charged for an incident on Sept. 8 at 7:15 p.m. at a residence along Douglas Lane in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Gombert went to the residence of a 43-year-old Kunkletown woman and banged on the door. He was previously told not to enter on the property, troopers said. He is facing a harassment count.

• Troopers said Paul Gschwend, 43, and Kristen Gschwend, 37, both of Red Fox Court in Polk Township, entered into a verbal argument at 2:05 p.m. on Sept. 9 which turned physical with both pushing each other. Both were cited for harassment.

• On June 12 at 11:08 a.m. troopers responded to assist Lehigh Township police with a disabled motorist. During the course of the investigation the driver, identified as Aarielle Wolgemuth, 30, of Slatington, displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for driving under the influence.

• On Sept. 14 at 4:17 p.m. a 42-year-old woman from White Street, Weissport, reported someone kicked on her front door damaging it. An investigation led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man from Palmerton, who troopers declined to identify. Damages were estimated at $450.

• Troopers said on Friday at 5:38 p.m. in the 500 block of Interchange Road in Polk Township, a 37-year-old man from Ross Township, who troopers declined to identify, placed a 31-year-old man from Penn Forest Township, in serious bodily harm with his vehicle. He was charged with reckless endangering.

• On Aug. 26 at 8:30 p.m. Jessica Horton, 27, of Pen Argyl, was stopped along Interchange Road near Woodchuck Drive, in Towamensing Township, for traffic violations. On scene she was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for DUI of alcohol.
