State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers.
• An attempted burglary was reported on Nov. 6 by a couple who live along Stonehill Lane at Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County. The victims said someone attempted to enter their bunkhouse on their property sometime between Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. and Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. by opening the windows. The suspects were unsuccessful in gaining entry. Nothing was reported missing.
• A 34-year-old Palmerton woman reported a check belonging to her was used without her permission to make a purchase at the AutoZone in Chestnuthill Township on Oct. 23.
• A 57-year-old Penn Forest Township resident reported someone left tires on his property off Route 903. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 8 and 7:40 a.m. Nov. 9.
• On Oct. 31 troopers responded to a residence along White Street, Weissport, for a report of the theft of two lamps and two screen door inserts. The 74-year-old woman said the items were removed from a garage on her property. The lamps are valued at $60 and the screen inserts at $100.
• A 91-year-old woman from Lehighton reported someone damaged her mailbox located along Mahoning Mountain Road in East Penn Township. The incident was reported on Nov. 8. Troopers said a suspect in the incident is a 23-year-old man.
• Troopers said on Nov. 9 a resident along Weatherfield Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone dumped several black garbage bags on her property. Troopers said the property is in a secluded area and does not have easy access from the roadway.
