A Monroe County man is facing charges after allegedly sending an explicit image to a minor via Snapchat.

According to court documents, the incident occurred on the morning of Sept. 12, when a 14-year-old girl received a message from an acquaintance, Eric Fisher, 35, of Stroudsburg.

The girl informed her father, who reported the incident to authorities.

Fisher is charged with disseminating explicit sexual material to a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communication facility, and corruption of minors.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 15 before District Judge Colleen Mancuso in Brodheadsville.
