Tamaqua School Board personnel

The Tamaqua Area School Board acted on long list of personnel items on Tuesday, including four resignations and one retirement.

Resignations

• Brett Hoch, high school mathematics teacher, effective at the end of the school year.

• Michael Adams, long-term middle school substitute social studies teacher, effective March 27.

• Autumn Pedron, middle school mathematics teacher, effective at the end of the school year.

• David Funk, full-time maintenance, effective April 6.

Retirement

Carole Blew, part-time paraprofessional, effective end of the school year.

Custodial

Hires: Justin McCarroll, Tamaqua, full-time custodian, $11 an hour; and substitute custodians: TC Conner, Ryan Dunkelberger, Mia Bamford and Ravin McCarroll, all of Tamaqua, at a rate of $12.41 an hour.

Appointments

Coordinators: Terri Livingston, substitute teacher, and Heather Metric, access billing.

Family Medical Leave Act was granted to: Darcijo Smarr, beginning May 16 with tentative return Aug. 19, barring any complications; Sarah Hollenbach, intermittent, beginning May 5 with a tentative return May 30, barring complications; and Kim Woodward, beginning on or about April 7.

Salary adjustments: facilities director, $1,000; cafeteria assistant, $1,500; transportation director, $5,500; accounts payable, $5,500, superintendent administrative assistant, $5,500; payroll, $1,500 and social worker, $2,200.
