Kutztown junior and Marian Catholic graduate Michael Fellin capped off a successful 2024-25 indoor track and field campaign by earning the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s Track Athlete of the Year, announced recently.
Fellin became just the second Track Athlete of the Year from Kutztown, and the first since Scott Eisenhart following the 2002-03 season.
Fellin concluded the indoor season becoming KU’s first-ever All-American in the 60-meter dash when he claimed Second Team honors by placing 12th overall at the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Fellin easily beat the NCAA provisional cut time of 7.05 in all five meets in which he competed in the 60m this winter. The Sheppton native saved his best for last, however, establishing a new school record and winning conference gold with a 6.65 in the final of the PSAC Indoor Championships.
Fellin’s season- and career-best time was tied for the fourth-fastest in Division 2 this year. He was named Men’s Outstanding Track Athlete as the “fastest man in the PSAC” following the Indoor Championships.
