Monroe county crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Christina M. Finamore, 33, of Henryville, and Alamanchermane R. Medeiros, 41, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, were injured after a two-vehicle crash at 4:11 p.m. April 7 on McCole Road, Middle Smithfield Township.

Police said both drivers were taken to the hospital. Police said the crash occurred when Medeiros, driving a 2014 BMW southbound and rounding a curve, entered the right lane and hit a northbound 2019 Hyundai driven by Finamore.

Medeiros was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Bonnie A. Adamski, 53, of Saylorsburg, was uninjured in a hit-and-run at 1:36 a.m. March 18 on Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.

Police said she was driving a 2018 Honda CRV eastbound and was slowing down while approaching a construction zone when her vehicle was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle that continued east on the interstate.

The Honda had minor damages, police said.

• Ryan P. Jones, 31, of Stroudsburg, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 12:17 a.m. March 6 on the Neola Road in Hamilton Township, police said.

He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2009 Mercury southbound at a high rate of speed when the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn, traveled off the road into a wooded area and hit a tree.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
