State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a truck-motorcycle crash at 2:35 p.m. April 4 on Route 873 in Washington Township.

Police said the crash involved a 2005 Harley-Davidson driven by Kevin S. Davis, and 2017 Toyota Tacoma driven by Max K. Curtis, 91, of Breinigsville.

Police said Davis was cited for obedience to traffic control devices.

• Police said two occupants of a vehicle that crashed at 12:39 a.m. Feb. 26 on Rextown Road in Washington Township fled the scene.

They said it is unknown if Adam A. Sosa, 26, of Allentown, the driver, and Hawley Ascani, 21, of Lehighton, were injured.

They said Sosa was driving a 2008 Mercury at a high rate of speed when it slid across both lanes of travel after he attempted to negotiate a left turn. The vehicle hit a utility pole, slid further off the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• A 17-year-old Walnutport girl was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:22 p.m. Feb. 15 on MacArthur Road in North Whitehall Township.

Police said she was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado south when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2018 Dodge Challenger head-on. The Challenger was driven by Jonathan R. Fox, 18, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

Both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

They said Fox had a broken right leg and was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

• Thomas Roberts, 57, of Bethlehem, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance following a one-vehicle crash at 11:19 p.m. Feb. 23 at the intersection of Route 145 and Clearview Road in North Whitehall Township.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.

• No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 1:28 p.m. March 24 on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Jeremy M. Hill, 46, of Pottsville, was driving a 2003 International Harvester eastbound when it left its lane and sideswiped a 2020 Peterbilt driven by Clifton A. Morgan, 39, of Slatington.

Police said Hill’s Harvester was hauling a 2017 Honda Civic that sustained minor damage in the crash.

The two rigs had moderate damages after the crash.

Hill was cited after the crash, according to police.

• John M. Boiga Corredor, 34, of Allentown, was injured after two-vehicle crash at 11:55 a.m. March 26 on Old Post Road in North Whitehall Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Boiga Corredor was driving a 2008 Honda Fit eastbound and was in the process of slowing down to turn right onto Height Road when the car was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle that then left the scene.

The Honda had disabling damage after the crash, police said.

• Jade C. Hoffman, 33, of Wind Gap, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:42 p.m. April 2 on Indian Trail Road in Lehigh Township.

Police said she was driving a 2017 Buick Encore north when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. The vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

• Kiersten E. Fink, 27, of Slatington, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:47 a.m. April 5 at the intersection of Weaversville Road and Hamilton Street in Hanover Township.

Police said she was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Trax northbound and began to slow down for an anticipated stop when an unknown vehicle in front of the Trax traveled in reverse and struck it, causing minor damage.

The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene, traveling northbound.

• Joseph C. Evangelist, 52, of Slatington, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 5:08 a.m. March 30 on Park Valley Road in North Whitehall Township. He was uninjured in the mishap.

Police said he was driving a 2006 Pontiac Torrent northbound when it left the roadway and hit a tree on the east side of the road.

The vehicle had heavy damage and was towed from the scene.
