Nesquehoning finally has a MAC machine.

One has been installed inside the recently-constructed Kovatch Quik Mart near the entrance to routes 209 and 54.

Sonny Kovatch, president of the Kovatch Corporation, said the MAC machine installation was another project which he felt was needed in the town. The Quik Mart was opened on Feb. 13 and is a 24-hour-a-day operation with gasoline pumps. It is being managed by Kovatch’s daughter, Judy, and features fast foods, fresh soups daily, a cold cut department and various other items, including Dunkin’ Donuts.

Sixteen persons are employed at the business.
