Marian poised to mark 70th anniversary Days of Caring

Marian High School’s annual Days of Caring event next week is marking a milestone of 70 years of faith, family and tradition.

This year’s edition, titled “Building the Future, Piece by Piece,” will run from noon March 25 through 10 a.m. March 28 as part of a special 70-hour fundraising effort to support the school’s continued growth and success.

In honor of Marian’s 70th anniversary, the school community will unite to build the Marian “puzzle” piece by piece, celebrating the rich history while creating an even brighter future for generations to come.

The event will feature a matching gift challenge from an anonymous alumni donor, where every dollar donated will be matched up to $75,000. That means that a gift will have double the impact on Marian Catholic’s students, teachers and programs.

“We are so grateful for the continued support from our alumni, parents, students and community members,” said Erin Marek, director of advancement at the Catholic school in Hometown. “This year’s Days of Caring is an exciting opportunity to reflect on the past 70 years of Marian and look ahead to an even more promising future. Together, we can create a lasting legacy for the next generation of students.”

The Days of Caring is not just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of the Marian family and the collective efforts of those who believe in its mission. Proceeds from the Days of Caring are part of the Marian Fund program, whose goal is $500,000 this fiscal year, which ends of June 30.
