Mrs. Viola Hine, a member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Lehighton, was honored by the congregation members during a “This is Your Life” volunteer dinner.

At age 95, Mrs. Hine was honored for displaying a quick wit, readily smile, helping hands and 46 years of dedication to God.

Larue Harleman, chairperson of the committee in charge of the event, cited Mrs. Hine’s “endless devotion and dedication to her Lord.”

Church took turns recollective Mrs. Hine’s life during the program, which culminated by the Rev. Dennis Brubacher, pastor, and Larry Fogel, president of the church board, presenting a plaque to the honoree.
