Street sweeping in Lansford borough will begin the last week of March.

The streets will be posted with “No Parking” signs the day before the scheduled sweeping, and any vehicle not moved is subject to being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

The scheduled is subject to change depending on work schedules and weather conditions.

The street sweeper can run in light rain, but if there is a steady rain or heavy downpour, that day’s street will be moved to the end of the list.

On the day of sweeping, parking will be prohibited starting at 7 a.m. and continue until the sweeping is completed.

This is the schedule:

• Patterson Street — March 24, all of the north side; March 25, all of the south side;

• Ridge Street — March 26, all of the north side and both sides of Snyder Street; March 27, all of the south side and both sides of all of Kline Avenue.

• Bertsch Street — March 28, all of the north side and both sides of all of Water Street; March 31, all of the south side and both sides of all of Front Street;

• Abbott Street — April 1, all of the north side and all east side hills; April 2, all of the south side and all west side hills, and;

• Springgarden, Andrewsville and Oak streets on April 3.
