A Walnutport man has championed for borough council meetings to be offered to a broader platform.
Resident Ron Bauer Jr. said at Thursday’s meeting that council could improve communication.
“Did the borough ever look to recording meetings?” Bauer asked. “Where if residents can’t come here, they can watch it on the borough website.”
Council President Michael Gaston said it was something that borough council could consider it, but that it would have to budgeted.
Bauer said that while he’s grateful that the municipal tax rate didn’t increase this year, he suggested borough council try to set money aside to be able to livestream in the future.
“I think it would be better if it was livestreamed,” he said. “Please try and put it in the budget.”
