Jim Thorpe and Palmerton both suffered Colonial League tennis losses on Thursday.

BOYS TENNIS

Pen Argyl-Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe won two of the three singles matches, but ended up dropping a 3-2 Colonial League decision to Pen Argyl.

Ian Walck and Evan Rosenbrook both earned singles victories for the Olympians, but the Green Knights captured both doubles matches — one by forfeit — to gain the team win.

So. Lehigh-Palmerton

Southern Lehigh didn’t lose a set in posting a 5-0 Colonial League victory over Palmerton.

The Bombers’ Colton Ruzicka battled Saam Bozorgnia at No. 2 doubles before dropping a 7-5, 7-5 decision.

The Spartans also gained singles wins from both Alex Ahnert and Sean Brogan.
