Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

March Mission: Domestic Mission Trips and Disaster Relief. Offerings will go toward Gail Strohl’s mission trip to North Carolina in April. She will be taking carpenters with her to help with recovery efforts from last year’s weather events. Offerings can be placed in a mission envelope.

Communion stewards: People are needed to serve as Communion stewards for prep and cleanup at one first Sunday of a month.

Sunday morning Scripture readers: Anyone who would like to read during March and April services, there is a sign-up sheet in the lobby.

Lent Bible study: Wednesdays with Pastor Rob Timlin through April 16 at 11:30 a.m. in Leah’s Room.

Save the date: Spring Ladies Luncheon, April 5 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Guest speaker is Laura Sommons of Lavishly Loved Ministries. The topic is “Come to the Table.” Sign up by emailing Jan at jklpta@yahoo.com, call the church office at 610-852-2805 or sign-up in the church lobby.

Community yard sale: April 26 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the church parking lot. Bring your own tables and chairs. This is only for church members.

GriefShare: A new grief recovery support group will be starting up in April. More information will be released soon. The leader is Jay Pelc. For information, call 917-957-1713.

Jerusalem Lutheran

Dinner: The church will also hold a Ham and Dandelion Takeout Dinner on April 12. Orders are due by March 30 by calling 610-681-5200 or 610-681-5020. There is a cost.

Pickup will be between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. at the church.
