Two local students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Hartford for the fall semester.
The dean’s list recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. The requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.
Melina Haynes and Arrington Triantis, both of Effort, were among those recognized.
Spread across seven schools and colleges, the University of Hartford in Connecticut’s capital city has around 4,100 undergraduate and 1,800 graduate students representing 48 states and 51 countries.
The private four-year university has degree programs spanning the arts, humanities, business, engineering and technology, education and health professions.
