State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Linda L. Schew, 58, of Frackville, was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 9:53 a.m. Feb. 22 at the intersection of Route 209 and Catawissa Street in Schuylkill Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Tamaqua Community Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Miner Campus, Coaldale.

Police said the crash occurred when Kyle K. Ditzler, 44, of Kingston, driving a 2008 Subaru Impreza east on Catawissa Street, failed to yield to oncoming traffic at the intersection and struck a 2016 Hyundai driven by Schew, causing the Hyundai to hit a 2020 Jeep operated by Brandon R. Ream, 32, of Brockton.

Police said the Impreza was towed from the scene. The Hyundai had disabling front-end damage, while the Jeep had minor damages. Ditzler, Ream and Kendall A. Foulk, 31, of Brockton, a passenger with Ream, were all uninjured.

Ditzler was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Navroop Singh, 34, of Jamaica, New York, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 11:33 p.m. Feb. 20 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2024 Freightliner northbound when he lost control of it due to snowy road conditions. The tractor-trailer went onto the grass median and hit the guide railing off the southbound lanes before jackknifing and coming to rest in the center median. The rig was towed from the scene.

• Craig R. Leitheiser, 52, of Mount Wolf, was injured after a one-vehicle crash at 3:18 a.m. Feb. 21 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township.

Police said he was transported to a hospital for treatment.

They said he was driving a 2023 Mack Truck southbound when he lost control of it. The vehicle traveled across the left lane, exited the roadway, traveled into the median and overturned. Police said the southbound lanes were closed for about two hours after the crash.

Leitheiser was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Carlos Ortiz Perez, 35, of Frackville, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 2:58 p.m. Feb. 20 on Mall Road in Ryan Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2010 Mazda northbound when it left the east side of the road and hit a rock. The vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:43 p.m. Feb. 18 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Janya N. Hernandez, 28, of West Springfield, Massachusetts, was driving a 2008 Honda Accord and was attempting to exit the interstate at Exit 131B. Police said she failed to negotiate the curve on the off-ramp and the car traveled off the road and down an embankment, crashing into trees.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
