Schuylkill County Court
The following sentences were handed down in Schuylkill County Court:
• Ricky Teter, 46, of Zion Grove, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 2-23 months in Schuylkill County Prison on a charge of fleeing or eluding leveled by Ringtown Borough police on July 14, 2024.
Teter will also have to pay the costs of prosecution, plus a $500 fine and another $400.
• Victoria Ann Argot, 45, of Lansford, was sentenced to 15-45 months in jail by Judge Christopher Hobbs to 16-36 months in jail on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance made by Tamaqua police.
Argot will also have to pay another $786, plus the costs of prosecution.
• Thomas Moorehead, 59, of Andreas, was sentenced by Judge Christopher Hobbs to six months’ probation, including 15 days of house arrest and 45 days strict probation, and $65 monthly supervision fee, on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol-highest level.
Moorehead will also have to pay the costs of prosecution, plus another $1,475. He will also have to attend and complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment for 1-3 months, undergo a 12-month license suspension, and complete 10 hours of community service.
• Jeffrey A. Leed, 38, of Frackville, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 2.5 to 5 years in a state correctional facility on a charge of aggravated indecent assault leveled by Frackville Borough police.
Leed was also ordered to serve five years probation on two other counts consecutive to the jail sentence.
He was also ordered to pay another $400.
• Shawn Grady, 50, of Shenandoah, was sentenced by Judge William Burke to up to one year in Schuylkill County Prison on a charge of possession of a controlled substance leveled by Shenandoah Borough police.
Grady was also ordered to serve 12 months’ probation consecutive to the jail sentence. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, plus another $250.
• Janus Zev Miguel Sosa, 24, of Shenandoah, was sentenced by Judge William Burke to 32-3 months in Schuylkill County Prison on a charge of institutional vandalism leveled by state police at Frackville.
He was also ordered to pay $13,120 in restitution, plus the costs of prosecution and another $400.
