“King” Trump and Musk terminated 1,000 employees from the Veterans Affairs Dept. “in the public interest.” Many of those 1,000 were veterans themselves. They were not “evil bureaucrats” or “parasites” who were “living off the system.” Trump was never fond of veterans but it is not “in the public interest” to add to the unemployment rolls or make veterans wait even longer for care.
