State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 61-year-old Brodheadsville woman is the victim of a theft incident on Bush Lane, Chestnuthill Township.
Police said she reported at 11:03 a.m. Feb. 19 that someone used her EBT card for unauthorized transactions in New York.
The sum of $361 was stolen from her, police said.
• A 16-year-old Saylorsburg boy was cited for harassment by communications after police were called to Longleaf Drive, Chestnuthill Township, at 10:48 p.m. Feb. 15.
A 15-year-old girl from Effort who told them she received unwanted text messages and harassing and threatening Snapchat messages from the boy.
• A 39-year-old Saylorsburg man was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Weis Market, Route 209 and Weir Lake Road, Chestnuthill Township, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
Police said he took $70.97 worth of items from the store without paying for them, departing in a 2008 Ford F-150. The items included a flower arrangement, chocolate-covered strawberries and a deli pizza.
