State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• Alicia Blocker, 40, of Coaldale, was charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person after police were called to an incident at 11:52 a.m. Feb. 9 on West Earley Avenue in Coaldale.
Police said a 49-year-old man from Tamaqua reported that he and Blocker were engaged in an argument over a pepperoni stick, after which time she swung a knife in his direction.
• Police said they were summoned at 1:10 p.m. Feb. 10 to assist emergency medical services personnel in a natural death incident.
They said an 80-year-old man from Tamaqua died. The incident involved a 2017 Dodge Ram truck on the Burma Road in Mahanoy Township.
• Police are investigating the theft of vehicle parts from a site on Brandonville Road in Mahanoy Township. The victim is the Reading Anthracite Company, Pottsville.
Between noon Jan. 18 and 3:30 a.m. Jan. 20, someone removed numerous lights from three pieces of heavy machinery, according to police.
The lights were valued at $2,565.
• Police were called to a scattering rubbish incident at the Dollar General Store, South Hancock Street, Kline Township.
They said the incident occurred between 5 and 10:38 p.m. Feb. 11 when someone dumped multiple bags/boxes of household garbage next to the store’s dumpster.
