State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 6:51 p.m. on Sunday along Route 560 (Kunkletown Road) in Eldred Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Michael A. Frost, 63, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2012 GMC Terrain too fast for conditions as he approached the intersection with Silver Spring Boulevard. Frost did not stop for a posted stop sign and continued southbound. The vehicle then left the roadway and entered a driveway at in the 400 block of Kunkletown Road. It then traveled into a yard area for about 25 yards before striking a tree where it came to rest.

Frost was not injured and the Terrain had to be towed.

He was cited for the crash.
