Calvary Lewistown

Pastor Kim will share a message from the Bible, the word of God, followed by the Sacrament of Holy Communion for all who believe in Jesus Christ at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Calvary Evangelical Church in Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening service.

The Wednesday night prayer group meets at 7 p.m. All are welcome to all services.

Big Game Sunday is celebrated at Calvary by bringing cans of soup, which the church will share with the community. Soup can be brought to the Sunday or Feb. 9 services.

Andreas VFW

The Andreas VFW will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the West Penn Annex.

St. Peter’s — West Penn

The 9 a.m. Sunday worship service at St. Peter’s Church in West Penn is Youth Sunday and will have the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Girl Scouts meet at 6 p.m. Sunday.

On Feb. 6, the Cherub Choir rehearses at 6 p.m., and the Senior Choir rehearses at 7 p.m.

On Feb. 9, the church board will be installed at the 9 a.m. worship service.
