Two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene of a collision that happened on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township at 6:25 p.m. Feb. 20.
State police at the Lehighton barracks investigated and said no one was hurt in the incident.
Police said John J. Steber, 82, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Route 903 when he lost control of the vehicle on the ice- and slush-covered roadway. The vehicle went into the oncoming lane of travel and impacted the front of a 2019 Kia operated by Gregory J. Keiser, 50, of Jim Thorpe.
