Robert W. Miller, 18, of Pine Grove, died in a one-vehicle crash at 11:56 p.m. Jan. 16 on Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Washington Township.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said he was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Kenneth O’Reilly.

Police said Miller was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound when it crossed over the middle lines. They said the victim over-corrected into the westbound lane but then left the roadway and struck an embankment and tree.

The car was towed from the scene.

Police said the deceased was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
