Have you chosen your eternal destination?

We all have an eternal destiny, but we have to choose it.

God gave us all free will.

This earthly life that we are living is like the blink of an eye as far as God is concerned.

One of the main reasons that we are here is because God has a standard.

We are being observed as to how we conduct ourselves and how we treat each other. But more importantly He wants to see who will accept Him as Lord and Savior.

This is where our free will comes in. God is not going to come to us, we have to accept Him. In John 3:3 we can read the words of Christ himself when He said, “Verily, verily I say onto you, unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Being born again simply means admitting that you are a sinner (which we all are) and turning your life over to Him.

In John 14:6 Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.”

Upon death our earthly body has served its purpose, but our soul lives on, it is eternal.

The soul of the unbelievers will be subject to God’s wrath, but the soul of the believer will enjoy a loving eternal relationship. Not just with God, but with all the loved ones who have passed away being part of the family of God.

We will all stand before God someday, either to be condemned or to be praised. We can read in Philippians 2:10-11 that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess the Lord thy God.

Just like we cannot experience the love of a spouse until we meet them and form a relationship with them, we cannot experience the love of God if we don’t know Him. When we take our last breath, our decision has been made. There is no turning back.

At the judgment, the Lord will either say, “Depart from me, I never knew you.”

Or He will say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

The choice is ours.
