Monroe crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Daniel L. Feller, 69, of Nesquehoning, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a one-vehicle mishap at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 8 on the Seven Bridge Road, Smithfield Township, police said. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt southbound when it left the roadway and struck an embankment.

The car had to be towed from the scene.

• Paula E. Raben, 35, of Easton, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 12:46 p.m. Jan. 6 on Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.

Police said she was driving a 2023 Toyota Highlander westbound when she lost control of it. The vehicle spun, crossed onto the right shoulder and struck a guide rail, after which time is crossed both lanes and hit a concrete traffic barrier.

Police said Raben and a 1-year-old girl who was a passenger were transported to an area hospital for evaluations.

The Highlander had to be towed from the scene, police said.
