The annual Carbon County Human Services Priorities Breakfast has a new date, and possibly a new location.

Last week, the Carbon County Collaborative discussed the upcoming breakfast.

It will take place on April 4.

Commissioner Wayne Nothstein said that the former venue does not have the help anymore to accommodate the large group with breakfast so a new tentative location is in the works. The new location will be announced once confirmed.

This year’s breakfast, which typically hosts approximately 90 to 100 people representing many agencies throughout the county, will be about “Carbon County’s Connections to Essential Health Services.”

The collaborative said that speakers for the panel discussion are being finalized at this time.

The annual breakfast has been taking place in Carbon County for more than a decade, covering a variety of topics from health care, child care and school programs to incarceration, the courts and more.

Sponsorship opportunities for the breakfast will be available and more details will be released in the coming weeks.
