Penn Forest keeps chairman, vice chairman

The current leadership will stay in place after Penn Forest Township’s reorganization meeting.

Roger Meckes remains chairman and Christian Bartulovich continues as vice chairman. Dana Vitale will remain as township secretary. A treasurer will be hired at a rate of $28.83 an hour.

Other appointments include:

• Meckes continuing as roadmaster, with Pat Holland as assistant roadmaster.

• Tom Nanovic will continue as township solicitor at a rate of $155 per hour; paralegal fees are $55 per hour.

• The engineer will be Barry Islett, while sewage enforcement officer is Hanover Engineering.

• Auditors will be Chris Fazio, two-year term; James Walck, four-year term; and Rebecca Hassenbein, elected, six-year term.

Compensation

• Planning commission members will be paid $10 per meeting.

• Zoning board members will receive $10 per hearing.

• Auditors will receive $10 for meetings plus mileage reimbursement.

• The roadmaster’s salary will be $8,499.96 plus $25 for each driveway permit reviewed, and mileage reimbursement.

The annual salary of the supervisors was established at $2,500 to be made in 12 payments.
