Area players named to PFN All-State team

Northwestern was well-represented once again when PFN Coaches-Select All-State teams were released on Thursday.

The Tigers had four players selected to the First Team in Class 3A, and three earn Second Team honors.

Northwestern’s Eli Zimmerman was also named 3A Player of the Year, while Josh Snyder earned Coach of the Year honors.

Zimmerman (running back), Jared Meck (offensive guard) and Mason Bollinger (slot/HB) were named to the First Team on offense, while Shane Hulmes (middle linebacker) was a First Team selection on defense.

Bryer Reichard (defensive end), Jackson Huber (nose guard) and Seth Kern (cornerback) were Second Team selections on defense.

Palmerton’s Logan Anthony (offensive guard) was also a First Team selection on offense.

Lehighton’s Blake Roberts was a First Team selection in Class 4A at outside linebacker. Lukas Croizier was a Second Team pick at safety for the Indians.

Northern Lehigh’s Eli Grady earned Second Team honors at center in Class 2A.

In Class 1A, Marian’s Aidan Milkovits was a Second Team selection on offense at the center position.
